You know we love visiting the South Bank whatever the time of year or the weather, but nothing really beats a summer’s evening when the world and his wife wants to go out and hit the town, and the breeze bathes your skin like warm tea, and there are endless things designed to amuse you.
From a giant book maze
to people shaped termite mounds
and stripy sand.
and boats balanced on top of buildings
There are great places to eat
mad places to drink
poems scrawled on walls
building blocks floating in the sky
and a hint of magic everywhere you go.

Oh, absolutely. I call the the South Bank my playground. I love it there.
I never tire of it. Never.
I told my husband about the Borges-ian book labyrinth. Love that idea.
It is such a great idea isn’t it?
